This is a tribute to our first venture into wine. The Origin rosé is where it all began. Our first harvest, first time packing boxes, creating a label, and launching the wine. We didn't even have our name or license figured out when the first rosé was bottled. So many firsts, so many memories. Without the rosé, Origin would've remained a dream. But every first has a last.
The Origin Rosé changed throughout the years. We moved from Santa Cruz to San Francisco, and changed winemakers, tweaked to the winemaking process, and adapted to very different growing seasons in the vineyard. But this final release is an ode to the original rosé. We've come back to our Santa Cruz winery and reunited with our original, world-class winemaker. The wine is a return to the rich profile that made us fall in love this wine in the first place. Maybe it was first love, but for a lot of you, the 2019 vintage was your favorite (us too). The 2023 vintage is its closest kin.
While we’re sad to end this era, it will allow us to explore bringing you something new. So thank you for going on this journey with us. As we bid farewell to the Origin Rosé, we invite you to savor every last drop.
