Harvest always reminds us why we’re doing this. It’s the pulse of the year, always unique and energizing. We’ve had unforgettable harvests—the first harvest, the fires harvest, the 24-hour notice harvest before the rains.
But this year was different. It was the first harvest with our families.
Since our first visit to Bates Ranch, we’ve dreamed of sharing it with them. Harvest days are when the ranch comes alive—teams singing, bins filling with fruit, sticky hands, and Nick’s dog, Tinto, sneaking low-hanging grapes.
Our parents and siblings finally got to see the magic: picking fruit (and eating plenty), walking through the Bates home, meeting legendary Prudy Foxx, and ending the day sipping wine together, exhausted and happy.
This harvest was one we’ll always cherish, and we hope the 2022 Origin Cab carries some of that warmth and character. We’re excited to share it with you—so you can create a little magic of your own.
