2020 Origin Rosé
Don’t let “2020” leave a bitter taste. The 2020 Origin rosé is your silver lining to an otherwise horrid year. The coastal breeze and mountain terrain kept our vines safe from of summer heat and smoke. Vineyard teams dropped fruit to keep flavors concentrated and only the top clusters made the cut (pun alert). Each cluster is selected by hand for a bright, layered, and poppy pink juice.
Like the inaugural vintage, this year that beautiful golden watermelon color. A fancy new crossflow filtration process put lower-shock on the juice so that zippy flavor stays in your bottle. Low touch processing and no additives leave the flavor up to nature and your wild imagination. All Origin wines are native yeast.

About Lester Family Vineyard
Along the California coast sit 25-year-old mountain Syrah vines where the fog keeps sustainably grown fruit cool and bright. Towering Redwoods, eucalyptus trees, and sculpture gardens surround a small lot vineyard that is hand cultivated using no herbicides. Ideal coastal growing climate allows for minimal drip-irrigation. Western-facing vines bring forth a salinity from the air and soils.
The Syrah vines sits at the southwest base of the Santa Cruz Mountains a few miles from the Pacific. The smell of redwoods branches intoxicate. A vista on the property faces west overlooking the vineyard with the ocean just over the horizon.
Wines from Lester deliver a strong sense of earth and high-quality fruit. They are not meek – they are layered, bright, and a blast to drink especially with food.
Friends of Origin will say, “I guess 2020 wasn’t sooo bad afterall.”
Oh, and most importantly we now have very cute branded corks.
